The Settings -> Permit To Work area allows you to enable and customise the "Permit to Work" feature. Turning on this feature will give the option on a job or task to require a permit. 


Once a job or task requires a permit, a document must be uploaded before a job can be instructed or completed. For a resource to accept or complete a task, they must read and agree to the permit.


Permit Type determines whether documents or forms are used for the Permit to Work.


The Permit to Work Disclosure Text area is the text that will be displayed when a resource or user is agreeing to the permit.




A permit to work form can be created using the Form Designer feature in the main Trackplan application.

For each job, there is an option to choose a permit, if one is required, as attach it to this particular job. This can be configured on the Job Details page:




Ticking this box will display an option to "Select Form". Clicking this button, will prompt a pop-up window where you can choose the appropriate form:

Once the job is instructed, the permit to work form will be sent to the resource as a PDF by email, and will also appear on the online portal and in the Resource App.
